Do I need a referral?

No referral is necessary for us to see your child. We would love to be your child’s primary care dentist and your little one would benefit from being in a child centered environment.

When do I bring my child in for their first dental visit?

The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a visit by the time the first tooth erupts or at least by the first birthday. This allows us to do an exam to make sure everything looks normal as well as discuss good oral hygiene, nutritional information, injury prevention and teething/ eruption milestones. We would also address any questions or concerns that you may have at this time regarding your new baby’s teeth or lack thereof!

Can I stay with my child during their dental treatment?

You can stay with your child during any kind of treatment in our office whether it is checkups or other treatment. We understand that some children cope better with their parents present, however, we ask that you be a silent observer during treatment so that, we the team, can focus on your child and your child on us for better results.

How do I prepare my child for their first dental visit or treatment?

It is very important to treat the visit just like any other appointment and not make a big deal out of it. We would also like for you to refrain from trying to explain anything to the child as we make it our priority to explain everything we will be doing to the kids in child friendly terms during the appointment and we obtain much better results this way.

Do you accept dental insurance? How are payments made?

Yes, we accept dental insurance. We will enter and submit claims on your behalf and your insurance should reimburse you for all treatment completed. Payments are made upfront for any treatment completed on the day of the visit.

What if need to reschedule my child’s dental appointment?

Please give us atlas 24–48-hour notice so that we may use this available appointment for another family who may be waiting for an appointment.

Where do I park?

There is ample parking all around the plaza and some reserved for HiFive Kids Dental & Braces as well.

What are the hours of operation?

Monday- Friday 8 am- 5 pm.
